What is The Frac Club?
The Frac Club is NZ’s first micro-syndication. We make real racehorse ownership possible to everyone by offering one payment onlty shares by breaking ownership down into smaller shares / fractions. The Frac Club is more than just a horse racing syndicate – it’s a community of like-minded people coming together to share the excitement, joy, and unforgettable experiences of racehorse ownership. Whether you’re a lifelong racing enthusiast or brand-new to the sport, The Frac Club opens the doors to a world of thrilling moments and camaraderie.

The Frac Club offers shares as one payment only! We are the only syndicate to operate with this model, making racehorse ownership financially accessible to anyone who wants to dip their toe into horse racing without the financial burden that racing horses can bring.
We believe that horse racing is best enjoyed as a shared experience. From the thrill of winning to the camaraderie of sharing updates and insights, our members don’t just own a racehorse—they’re part of a movement celebrating the heart and soul of racing.
The horses offered through The Frac Club have been carefully selected by our experts keeping the horses offered through The Frac Club stable boutique,

YES! Each share price is partly made up of the purchase price for your shareholding percentage with the balance being future costs for the ownership percentage. All details including ownership percentage per share and a breakdown of the share price is spent is listed both on the website under the horse detail and in the product disclosure statement for each horse offered.
YES! Each share you purchase is a real ownership percentage of your horse. Upon purchase of your first racehorse share with The Frac Club you receive login details to your own owner area where you can view your own digital wallet which holds the stake money you receive based on the performance of the racehorses you own shares in. The more shares you own the more stake money you receive.

While we cannot guarrantee you can visit your horse in restricted areas after they have won their race, or before they race, we will do everything we can to get all owners on course tickets to enjoy Owners Privileges on race day. As there are a lot of owners in each of our Frac Club horses and depending on the race day and racing club we will access as many owner’s tickets as we can. If there are not enough tickets for everyone on course we will do a random draw to allocate the tickets available.

The Frac Club always holds events on course for our owners when our horses are racing as long as the racing club has space for us! This is one of the highlights of owning a horse with The Frac Club; being able to meet other owners of your horse, cheering them home together and enjoy a day on course together is what racehorse ownership is all about. Our owners are a thriving, passionate community that champion for their horses!

First and foremost the Manager is responsible for the welfare of each and every Frac Club horse by regularly communicating with all involved with the progression of the horse and ensuring everything runs smoothly for all the Owners of each horse. Equne welfare is at the forefront of the Manager’s decision making. The Manger is responsible for collecting all information about the horse, its progression, data & race insights to the all of the ownership group as well as planning and hosting all race day events, stable tours and implementing & executing all new initiatives for The Frac Club owners to enjoy.
The Manager makes all decisions in conjunction with trainers and vets as to the health and welfare of the horse. If the Manager determines that it is not in the interests of the Horse itself to continue racing, or the Ownership Group then the Horse will either be sold, or if it is an entire (a male horse that has not been gelded) retired to stud, at the Manager’s discretion. If the Manager considers the Horse has no significant commercial value, the Manager may, at its discretion, rehome the Horse or transfer it to a rehoming program. In each case, the Manager’s decisions in relation to the Horse are subject to the Manager’s ability to deal with these decisions in accordance with the relevant ownership percentage held by the Syndicate in accordance with the Rules of Racing.
